Genuine question, not trying to be that guy — what's the actual difference between CLTC, WLTP, and EPA range numbers? The article flags that CLTC and WLTP both run more generous than EPA but doesn't say by how much, and I have no intuition for whether a "700km CLTC" car would land at 550 miles or 350 miles EPA. Is there a rule of thumb?

Not building anything myself yet, just lurking and learning, but this is the first build log where I actually followed the reasoning behind every decision instead of getting lost in the acronyms. What made you pick the Beetle over other classic donor cars? Was it just the price and the flat floor pans, or was there something else?

Still learning the acronyms — can someone explain Cell-to-Pack in plain terms? I get that it means the cells skip the module step and go straight into the pack structure, but I don't understand why that makes the format incompatible with standard bus bar kits. Is it just the physical shape, or something about how the pack itself is structural?

Is there a version of this guide, or a similar one, for someone who wants way less than 20kWh? I'm thinking more like a 5-6kWh setup just to back up a fridge and some essentials, and most of the guidance I find online assumes you want a whole-home system. Feels like the sizing math should scale down but I don't know enough yet to be sure what changes and what doesn't.
