Forty years in electrical engineering. I watched the same shift happen with lead acid to VRLA in the 90s — the industry consensus moved when the cycle data made it unavoidable, not when the marketing landed. Your point about Powerwall 3 adopting LFP is the real tell. Tesla uses whatever chemistry its own data supports. That's a louder signal than any spec sheet.
