Had a supply chain analyst on the show a few months back who made a point that stuck with me: the interesting question isn't which of these nine cars eventually reaches the US, it's what happens to pricing and features on the cars already sold here once even two or three of them do. Competition doesn't require market entry to change behavior — it just requires credible threat of entry. This piece is basically a list of credible threats sitting outside the fence.

Covered generator integration on an episode earlier this year — the Cerbo relay auto-throttle solution you landed on is exactly what every off-grid installer I've talked to recommends after the first overload incident. Nobody anticipates it during design. It should be a standard checklist item.

Covered this exact thesis on an episode earlier this year and the data point that landed best with listeners was the 90th-percentile daily mileage figure — once people hear that number the anxiety reframes almost immediately from "what if" to "this covers my actual life."
